Miranda’s World, a dream come true. I started Miranda’s World when I partnered with Gymdigs to design
leos for their product line. I connected with Gymdigs when my mom tweeted a video of me in the gym
catching my gienger. I have always wanted to start a scholarship fund for gymnastics camp, but never had
the opportunity until I came in contact with Lynnette and Julie at Gymdigs. Once we connected, my mom
and I emailed them to see if they would be interested in partnering with me to send gymnasts to camp. I
am proud to say that they loved the idea! Since I want to be a collegiate athlete, I can’t take any proceeds
for designing the leos, so my mom and I decided to create a gymnastics camp fund, and thus the idea for
Miranda’s World was born.
We began working on ideas for a website to promote the scholarship fund, and I began sketching some
designs to send to Gymdigs to put into production. Gymdigs picked several that they liked and made a
couple of demos. It was an amazing feeling to actually see my designs in production! Once they were
done, it was off to a photo shoot to get some great photos for their website and for promotions. You can
now purchase my designs on the Gymdigs website. Click on shop and then Miranda’s World to be taken
to the ordering page.
I would like for Miranda’s World to continue after I finish college. I love the sport of gymnastics and
always want it to be a part of my life, and Miranda’s World is a way to start something while I am in high
school that can grow as I grow. Going to summer camp at Woodward and collegiate camps in Georgia
and Florida were great experiences for me. Many gymnasts don’t have that opportunity, so I want to
help make their dreams of going to camp come true. With the proceeds from my designs going into the
scholarship fund, anyone who purchases one of my leo designs from Gymdigs.com will help send a
gymnast to camp.
